Elephant Man in Zimbabwe 2011

I must keep this short and sweet as I have quite a few things that I must do before the day ends but I just have to write about this. Mr O'Neil Bryan the 36 year old dance-hall artist formerly known as Elephant Man or as some may prefer to call him the "Energy God" who is known for his BADDDD TUNES, such as "Pon Di River", "Nuh Lingah", "Whine Up", "Jook Gyal" arrived in Zimbabwe on Thursday the 23th June. Dumbo (as people used to call him when he was still "A YOUT") then had a press conference at The Rainbow Towers Hotel, this time there weren't any delays or NO SHOWS as there where when Miss Ciara came to town. In the press conference depicted JUST WHY he is known as the "Energy God". I must say when I viewed this clip, it ACTUALLY sent chills down my spine, here is a clip so you can see exactly what I mean...

After the press conference on Thursday, Elephant Man later performed at the Rasta hotspot "Red-Fox Hotel" (If you haven't been there you must go at-least once if you are visiting the capital so you can experience the MAD VIBES yourself, the DJ's never fail to entertain and they most definitely rock the crowd) Tickets where priced from $5 - $10 (a bargain if you ask me)...

On Friday night, Elephant Man then performed at the Glamis Arena, the crowd was INCREDIBLE. His fans where going AWOL screaming in share amazement of the Energy God's performance. Turns out, Elephant Man actually danced with some of the fans who had savagely managed to get past security, security personnel actually found it hard to control the crowd as people where trying their best to get onto stage. Things did turn sour, security personnel then began using their batons and attacking the PARTY ANIMALS who where just sooo hyped up and wanted to get onto the stage but the humble Energy God who was actually enjoying the response that he was receiving from his fans told the security to cool it “Security! Security! Leave my mother flippin’ people alone!,” I do respect him for this, it shows that he really does have love for his people which is quite hard to find as we know when certain individuals get to the top, they forget the people who helped them get there. Anyway to round this up, it was a good night for those that where present. Elephant Man is incredibly busy this week, he will be performing in Tanzania later on tonight and I am sure those Tanzanian fans are going to have the time of their lives.. Here is a clip of the DANCE-HALL LEGEND'S Friday night performance...

Thank you for reading my blog people, hope you enjoyed. Peace Love and Blessings..x Quein
