Good-morning people, over the past 3 days I have literally had approximately 14 hours of sleep (can you imagine) but I am still fully functional despite my severe fatigue. Anyway, I just wanted to give you a quick update. As you know, I went to the studio where I did my own track and then another with FireFlex on the Mad Army Riddim. I will just explain as I can to the greatest extent to make sure that everyone understands. So basically 16 artists wrote lyrics and made tracks one 1 instrumental which is the Mad Army Riddim, produced by Kritical Beats (a Zimbabwean producer) - an IMMACULATE one at that.. Yes Kritical, you are great. BIGG UP YOURSELF! So yeah, the Mad Army Riddim was released today on King Alfred's radio show, JamRock media. Please do not take this the wrong way, I do not want it to seem as if I am putting others down in anyway, shape or form... Not at all, this movement is about working hard, believing in, supporting and uplifting each other, basically encouraging each other to do the best we can so it would me if someone told me that they felt as if I was you know trying to put anyone down somehow, you know how we humans have a tendency to interpret things in different ways. So basically, my track on the Mad Army Riddim which was entiltled "Hapana Chekumirira" thanks to the help of FireFlex, Tainternational, Mad Maxx and Prodigal (I just really couldn't decide on what to call it). The track was pulled up (restarted) approximately 6+ times. On King Alfred's show he also has a section in which listeners can leave their comments, so as he pulled up the track again and again lol I actually decided to write "give it to dem" it was like people where being given a taster (ku yemudzwa) - lol and they just HAD to hear it. Anyway, the track was played, it received positive feedback from the listeners, I got a great feed-back from those who where in the studio including Prodigal, FireFlex, Tainternational (Zimall Stars) and King Alfred himself. I was actually watching the show as I was seated in my living room with my mother. My mother knows that I sing but she has never heard any of my songs my mum is more supportive when it comes to my education, but I just decided to play it to her, I told her my track was being played on radio, I turned the laptop into her direction and as King Alfred was "bigging me up" my mum then asked me who Quein Siingah was? WELLL DUHHHH MOTHER... Lol I am pretty sure she thought that I was just joking but then she realised that I wasn't and I believe she took to a liking to the song. As of yet my mother and father aren't completely supportive when it comes to music and all but they do not realise the passion I have for music, they don't realise that I am serious about it and no matter what, it will most definitely be a part of me and I will make my dreams a reality one day. But anyway, the overall vibe was great. Tainternational and FireFlex where interviewed, everything went well and it was just a success. I actually spoke to them when the show had ended and it was just SUCH A GOOOOD VIBE. This is most definitely the start of something new and trust me.. We aren't stopping, even if we see an ambulance in the way..x
I just want to say thank you to the readers of this blog, the people who supported the Zimall Star movement by tuning into the show, Kritical Beats, Tainternational and every single one of the artists that worked on the Mad Army Riddim because I can say without a doubt, everyone went IN!.. Peace, Love and Blessings..x
